Keith Morgan has been selected to be this year’s Mayoral candidate for the Labour Party in Watford.
Keith has over 10 years’ experience of working in the public and third sector, with an interest in tackling health inequalities.
Keith has lived in North Watford for five years, and loves the uniquely diverse mixture of people, cultural, and beliefs. Above all, he wants to create more spaces to listen carefully, and to understand how he can best represent the views of residents.
He is a strong campaigner and confident community leader who believes that the Labour Party is the best party to bring about the change Watford needs. He has campaigned with the Party fighting against reductions to youth services and has worked with the Party to set up resident-led, intergeneration, community groups to tackle loneliness and improve community connectedness.
Keith’s core values are rooted in his deep commitment to public service and he has demonstrated a profound respect for the residents and communities that he is here to serve.
Keith has led a number of charities, building a strong track-record in community engagement, capacity building, and programme development working closely with local government and the GLA. As an advocate for health equality Keith has provided community insight and applied an equity framework to his work with Health and Wellbeing Boards, and Neighbourhood Working Groups.
