Chris Ostrowski, Labour Parliamentary candidate said, "The government is teetering on the brink. Their bickering and squabbling at a time of national crisis is a disgrace. Astonishingly Tory MPs are putting their own self-interest ahead of this country’s best interests and bringing further instability upon mounting chaos. Britain deserves better; Watford deserves better. It’s time for a General Election and a Labour Government to bring the country back together."

Labour Councillors win support for ethical debt collection
Watford Council has unanimously supported a Labour motion committing the authority to a more humane and ethical policy for the collection of debts from local residents. As a result, the Council will work with residents to establish affordable debt repayment plans. Proposing the motion, Councillor Matt Turmaine said, "Problem council owed debt can place unparalleled stress on people and lead to homelessness." The motion stressed that all debts would continue to be pursued but using effective practices already used by other local authorities. Read the full motion here
