Your candidates have reported all these problems and demanded urgent action from the Council. If your need your area cleaning up contact your Labour team (Phone numbers above)
Let local residents use car parks!
The Labour team wants town centre car parks opened up at night to local residents who often find it difficult to park in their own streets. Mike said, " I am in touch with the car park operators and an hopeful we will have a result soon".
Over-development becoming a blight on the community

Oxhey Liberal Democrats plan skateboard park
Just as Oxhey residents thought it couldn't get any worse, The Lib Dem Council published plans to concrete over the remainder of the Park on the north side of the river with a skateboard park. It is to be re-located from the town centre, to release lucrative building land owned by the Council. One local resident said, "That's my lot with the Lib Dems. They have let us down once again. Building on a park is the last straw. I'll be voting Labour in protest".

Sue writes: "I love Oxhey Park but like many residents I am furious that Oxhey's Lib Dem councillors agreed to the building a road across it to access the Mayor's new housing development on Farm Terrace allotments. The devastation to our lovely park is there for all to see. ".
Road rips through Oxhey Park
Oxhey Park before bulldozers moved in
Lib Dem Councillors have given up all pretence to having 'green credentials'. They have allowed a new road to be built right across Oxhey Park. The road will be funded by allowing property developers to put up to 750 units of housing on the Farm Terrace allotments and giving them new road access. Local residents are furious with their Oxhey Lib Dem Councillors one of whom said the road would be built 'over his dead body'. The Councillors have now gone very quiet.
